Welcome to Northern Packers and Movers. By booking our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.

1. Services Provided

  • Northern Packers and Movers provides relocation services, including but not limited to:

    • Household Shifting
    • Office Relocation
    • Commercial Moving
    • Packing and Unpacking
    • Loading and Unloading

    We reserve the right to refuse services at our discretion if the request violates any laws or company policies.

2. Booking and Confirmation

  • All bookings must be made through our official communication channels (website, phone, or email).
  • A confirmation will be provided upon receipt of the booking and advance payment (if applicable).

3. Payment Terms

  • Payments must be made in accordance with the agreed-upon terms during booking.
  • Full payment is required before or at the time of delivery unless otherwise stated.
  • Additional charges may apply for unforeseen services such as extra labor, material requirements, or delays caused by the customer.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate details about the items to be moved, including size, quantity, and special handling instructions.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all items are properly packed and labeled unless the packing service is availed.
  • Customers must ensure accessibility for the moving vehicle and crew at both the pickup and delivery locations.

5. Liabilities

  • Damages or Loss:
    • Northern Packers and Movers will take utmost care in handling your belongings.
    • In the event of damage or loss caused by our negligence, compensation will be provided based on the value of the damaged item(s), as assessed jointly with the customer.
    • We are not responsible for damages caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, or road accidents beyond our control).
  • Excluded Items:
    • Northern Packers and Movers do not transport hazardous, flammable, illegal, or perishable items. Transporting such items without prior disclosure absolves us of any liability.

6. Delays and Cancellations

  • Delays:
    • While we strive to meet agreed timelines, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for indirect losses resulting from such delays.
  • Cancellations:
    • Customers may cancel their bookings as per our Refund Policy. Cancellations by Northern Packers and Movers due to unforeseen reasons will be communicated promptly.

7. Insurance Coverage

  • Customers are encouraged to purchase insurance for valuable or fragile items.
  • Northern Packers and Movers can assist with arranging insurance but is not directly responsible for claims or disputes with the insurance provider.

8. Third-Party Involvement

  • In cases where third-party services are required (e.g., crane services, warehousing), Northern Packers and Movers will act as a facilitator only and is not responsible for delays, damages, or disputes caused by the third party.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall be resolved amicably through negotiation.
  • If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be subject to arbitration under the applicable laws of Karnataka, and the decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding.

10. Confidentiality

  • Northern Packers and Movers respects your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

11. Amendments

  • Northern Packers and Movers reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions. Customers will be informed of significant changes through official communication channels.
